Abstract

The isometric collision rules for the FCHC lattice gas, as invented by Hénon [4], are implemented. Some of the necessary background history and theory is summarised, and the implementation is discussed. Due to the findings of the present paper, this method is considered unsuitable for the computer hardware used in these tests. Since this is the only available hardware to Aerotek, recommendations for a future strategy are given, based on other methods discussed in the literature.
