Abstract

Strongly equiprime near-rings are defined which generalize strongly prime rings to near-rings. These near-rings determine an ideal-hereditary Kurosh-Amitsur radical in the variety of 0-symmetric near-rings. In the same variety, the uniformly strongly equiprime near-rings also determine an ideal-hereditary Kurosh-Amitsur radical which is not comparable with the Jacobson-type radicals nor with the Brown-McCoy-type radicals.
