Abstract

The aim of this article is to discuss drama more as a narrative text than to touch the performance aspect of drama. The development section of Serudu's drama is described in this article. Attention is devoted to the author's handling of techniques. By making use of techniques, the author attempts to present the theme of his work, which simultaneously stimulates the phenomenon of suspense in the work. Apart from the literary techniques, Serudu's arrangement of acts and scenes is also discussed. The scenes have the functions of sorting and combining. The latter function contrasts scenes or extends existing facts.
