Constructing and marking (assessing) examination questions with special reference to the subjective-type questions

Abstract

The present investigation, prompted by data regarding some of the African languages offered at the University of South Africa, focusses on various factors that should be kept in mind when constructing and marking examination papers. Special attention is paid to the subjective-type of questions.
