Abstract

Underpinned by boundary management and social exchange theories, the study tested a multi-level model that examined the effect of collective employee awareness and usage of organizational work-life balance (WLB) policies on employees’ perceived organizational support. Results of multisource data obtained from managers and non-managers of 30 organizations in Ghana supported the hypothesized mediation and moderation effects. We discuss implication of the findings for practice and research of work-life balance in Ghana. Based on the findings of the study, theoretical and practical implications for WLB research are discussed.
