AN ANALYSIS OF CERTAIN PROMINENT THEMES IN ZULU NOVELS

Abstract

Most African novels display themes which are based on or related to past and current social problems. The main aim of this article is to investigate the prominent themes handled by Zulu authors as well as to look at how these themes reflect past and existing social problems. An attempt will be made to give a critical assessment of the art displayed by each writer in handling of the particular theme.
