C.L.S. Nyembezi's life and literary work

Abstract

C.L.S. Nyembezi is one of the foremost Zulu writers, well known by many young children who use his Igoda series school, as well as by the average educated Zulu who has had the opportunity of reading his novels or his educatior books. In this article C.L.S. Nyembezi's life is traced from his birth to the present time, and his literary activity as a novelist, as a researcher of Zulu customs, and as an educationist is described.
