Developing a Sawtimber Product Yield System from Published Tables

Abstract

The yield tables published in the South African Forestry Handbook (pp. 134–150) may be generated for a micro-computer using interpolating polynomials and few data points. The method may be attractive to a grower who owns a micro-computer, but has no access to a sophisticated yield projection system.
