  1. The order of starlikeness of some classes of strongly starlike functions

The order of starlikeness of some classes of strongly starlike functions

Item type: Journal Article • Journal: Quaestiones Mathematicae
In this paper we consider the order of strongly starlikeness for functions in Silverman’s class ????b and in the generalized Mocanu’s class M (α, β1, β2). Some previous results are improved.
  2. Inclusion and distortion properties for certain meromorphically multivalent functions

Inclusion and distortion properties for certain meromorphically multivalent functions

Item type: Journal Article • Journal: Quaestiones Mathematicae
Two new subclasses Hp,k (λ, A, B) and Qp,k (λ, A, B) of meromorphically multivalent functions starlike with respect to k-symmetric points are introduced. Distortion bounds and inclusion relations for these subclasses are obtained.
  3. On two epireflective subcategories of the category of 2<em>T</em>
               0-fuzzy bitopological spaces

On two epireflective subcategories of the category of 2<em>T</em> 0-fuzzy bitopological spaces

Item type: Journal Article • Journal: Quaestiones Mathematicae
The motivation for the present work is provided by Giuli and Salbany's work on the category BTOP 0 of T 0?bitopological spaces wherein they identified a cogenerator Q and a closure operator and used these to obtain, among other things,...
  4. SIERPINSKI OBJECTS IN SUBCATEGORIES OF FTS

SIERPINSKI OBJECTS IN SUBCATEGORIES OF FTS

Item type: Journal Article • Journal: Quaestiones Mathematicae
E.G. Manes gave a characterization of the category of topological spaces as a suitable category of sets with structure having an appropriate “Sierpinski object”. By identifying an appropriate Sierpinski object, A.K. Srivastava and R. Srivastava obtained an analogous characterization of...
  5. ON CERTAIN INITIAL COMPLETIONS IN FUZZY TOPOLOGY

ON CERTAIN INITIAL COMPLETIONS IN FUZZY TOPOLOGY

Item type: Journal Article • Journal: Quaestiones Mathematicae
Following a lead given by I.W. Alderton, it is shown that the MacNeille completion and the universal initial completion coincide for the categories of zero-dimensional fuzzy T0-topological spaces, T0-fuzzy closure spaces, 2T 0-fuzzy bitopological spaces, and T 1-fuzzy topological spaces...
  6. On some coreflective hulls in BFTS

On some coreflective hulls in BFTS

Item type: Journal Article • Journal: Quaestiones Mathematicae
In this paper, we show that the coreflective hulls of fuzzy bitopological spaces (I 2, Π1, Π2) and (2I, P 1 , P 2) in the category BFTS are similar.
  7. On two topologies associated with a topology

On two topologies associated with a topology

Item type: Journal Article • Journal: Quaestiones Mathematicae
With every topology T on a set X, two finer topologies on X have been introduced in the past, viz., the so-called front topology and the indiscrete generated refinement of T. It is shown here that these are nicely inter-related...
  8. On coreflective hulls in [0, 1]-TOP and <em>s</em>[0, 1]-TOP

    On coreflective hulls in [0, 1]-TOP and <em>s</em>[0, 1]-TOP

Item type: Journal Article • Journal: Quaestiones Mathematicae
In this paper, we find the coreflective hull of the category of indiscrete [0, 1]-topological spaces in the category [0, 1]-TOP of [0, 1]-topological spaces. We also show that the coreflective hull of a single-point s[0, 1]-topological space in the...
  9. The unit group of some special semi-simple group algebras

The unit group of some special semi-simple group algebras

Item type: Journal Article • Journal: Quaestiones Mathematicae
Let G be a non-abelian group of order 2n which has a cyclic subgroup of index 2 and let U ( [G]) be the unit group of the group algebra [G] of G over the field containing q = pkelements...
  10. On <em>Q</em>-sobriety

    On <em>Q</em>-sobriety

Item type: Journal Article • Journal: Quaestiones Mathematicae
The study of fixed-basis variety-based topology was initiated by S.A. Solovyov (in 2008), which, among other things, generalizes fuzzy topology. We extend within this framework, an earlier result due to Srivastava et al. (in 1998), which showed that the category...
