Abstract

This study explores the use of narrative frequency in the Sesotho novel, Kodiyamalla, by Nhlanhla P. Maake. The focus falls on singulative, repeating and iterative narrative. This technique is used to highlight the high frequency of violent events to thematic and artistic effect.
