Classification of Northern Sotho detective stories

Abstract

The aim of this article is to classify Northern Sotho detective stories according to their type. This article focuses on (a) a description of the concept “detective story”; (b) the problem of classifications of this type of story by various literary theorists, and (c) a suggested “experimental” classification of Northern Sotho detective stories.
