Call for papers: Special issue on African-European birds

Ostrich: Journal of African Ornithology will be publishing a special issue on the shared avifauna of Africa and abroad.
The palearctic region and Africa have strong ornithological ties, and understanding ornithology in Africa is fundamental to species conservation of many species that occur in Europe and Asia.
The initiative will be led by Ostrich Advisor Dr Dayo Osinubi (FitzPatrick Institute). The special-issue invites research papers on the theme of birds within Africa and beyond. A wide variety of topics related to the theme will be considered e.g. communities, conservation, migration, threats and opportunities.
The deadline for submission is 15 June 2022. Articles are published online on acceptance, with the printed issue scheduled for October 2022.
