Abstract

A trial designed to test various fertilisers clearly demonstrated that good growth in the nursery and adequate initial growth in the field of Eucalyptus grandis seedlings could be obtained from any of the mixes tested. The soluble form of the complete fertiliser 2:2:2 (42) applied through the irrigation system is recommended as being the most economical and least troublesome of the available alternatives.
